The Captain Alex Tamble

Sturgeon Bay Outdoors is owned and operated by Captain Alex Tamble. Capt. Alex has been fishing the waters of Sturgeon Bay for the past 11years. In those years he has learned and studied the fishery. For the past 5 years, Capt. Alex has kept a detailed log of every fish caught as well as all pertinent information of the catch.

This information includes; water temperature, barometric pressure, wind speed, water currents, sunlight variations, thermocline, time of day, moon phase, presentation speed, lure color, lure specifics…etc.- the list goes on! In doing so, Capt Alex has used this knowledge to adjust fishing techniques to the current every changing conditions. Capt. Alex also networks with the other Captains in Sturgeon Bay to make sure his boat is always over the fish.
